There are several different events during the Forsythia Festival season. Expect to see some of your family’s favorite events in 2025, like the Forsythia 5K, and Hello Yellow & Food Truck Frenzy Kickoff. The 2025 Forsythia Festival will also have some new events for you to enjoy! The 38th Annual Forsythia Festival is proudly sponsored by Volume Chevrolet Forsyth.

Kick off the Forsythia season at our annual Business2Business event. Hosted by Connie R. Ham Middle Georgia Realty, this event gives our business community to get a jump start on festival activities.
Forsythia 5K
Welcome to the 2025 Forsythia Festival 5K! The race will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, starting and finishing at Forsyth United Methodist Church. On-site check-in opens at 7 a.m., with the race kicking off at 8 a.m. The registration fee is $30, which includes a swag bag filled with goodies. This year’s event is proudly sponsored by Run Fit Sports.
Hello, Yellow! & The Forsythia Food Truck Frenzy
Join us on March 1, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the kickoff of the 38th Anniversary Forsythia Festival! This year’s theme, "Hello, Yellow!" features the exciting Food Truck Frenzy, along with on-site car painting—get beautiful forsythias painted on your vehicle, grab festival t-shirts, enjoy delicious bites from food trucks, and more! The festivities begin at 11 a.m. at the Monroe County Fine Arts Center. A special thanks to Bank of Dudley in Forsyth, GA, for proudly sponsoring the Food Truck Frenzy.
Bradley Thomason Memorial Car Show
Join us on March 2nd, 2024 for the Annual Bradley Thomason Memorial Car Show. The event will be from 11:00AM - 4:00PM at the Monroe County Board of Education. Registration for the event is $20 and all proceeds go the ALS Foundation. There will be door prizes, a silent auction, and of course some of the nicest cars in Monroe County! This is a Forsythia Festival sanctioned event.

The Block Party
Join us on March 8th, 2024 from 7:00 - 10:00 PM for Country Fest. There will be live music on the square from artists such as The Assembly and Caleb Dunn & Friends. This event is free to the public, so please join us for good music and fun times!

Boy Scout Troop 51 Pancake Breakfast
The Boy Scout Pancake Breakfast is a Forsythia Festival tradition for many families. Start your day off right with a delicious breakfast cooked by our local scouts. For just $8.00 you can fuel up before heading out to the Arts & Crafts fair. The scouts start serving at 7 a.m. on March 9th at the Forsyth United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Community Stage
Back by popular demand! The community stage is open to individuals and groups to perform at the Forsythia Festival. This is a free event for all! Community Stage will be on March 9-10, 2024.
Arts & Crafts Fair
The pinnacle event of the Forsythia Festival is set in the streets of Downtown Forsyth. Join us March 9 – 10, 2024 as we welcome roughly 20,000 people, and more than 100 vendors, to Forsyth. Shop for arts and crafts, enjoy the tasty festival treats, and spend some time with your family at the fun-filled events. Hours are Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
