Security

The City of Forsyth Police Department provides security from 6 AM, Saturday, through 5 PM, Sunday

Festival Hours

Saturday, Mar 8th,

10 AM–6 PM;

Sunday, May 9th,

12–5 PM.

LOCATION

The festival is in downtown Forsyth. From I-75, take exit 187 and turn towards the downtown district. Forsyth is 1 hour south of Atlanta via I-75 using exits 187 or 186.

Security

The festival will not be rescheduled or canceled due to weather. Sponsors must supply protective coverings/equipment.

Attendance

The Forsythia Festival expects an average of 20,000 people.

Display Area

Display areas are an average of 10-feet wide by 10-feet deep and are located on the city street. Tents or coverings must be self-supporting. Drilling or puncturing street surface is strictly prohibited. Applicants who require electricity must indicate it on their application, and they must provide their own electrical extension cords. Sponsors who would prefer to use generators may do so, but the generators must not interfere with the festival’s atmosphere.
